    Unable to fend off the fiendish attack, our hero finds himself lying on the damp grass analog, paralyzed, but able to breathe normally. Fortunately his nibbles whip sprang into action and enveloped him in a strangely vibrating and humming force field as soon as his assaulted body hit the ground. After some brief moments of uncertainty about his precarious situation, an ominous, dreadfully familiar shape, rises above the horizon. This was definitely going to turn out to be a bad day.

    aaaarrrrgggghhhhh.... a cube has a 1:1:1 ratio, the monolith you are referring to has a 1:4:9. I can agree that it's perhaps not clear that the object in the piiix is supposed to be cubic, but assigning it a 'monolithic' ratio is a bigger stretch...
